I have had my Arcade Fight Stick for almost 1 year now and have been using it for Shmups,

Hori Fighting Stick Ex 2 with Sanwa Buttons
This is another high quality fighting stick from Hori that upholds the reputation of their fighting sticks for other platforms. If you love arcade style games (especially fighting games), you will enjoy the feeling of using this control.
One of the best things about this product is that it will increase your enjoyment of all your arcade style Xbox Live Arcade games as well as current fighting games. It can also be used with your PC.
This (like other Hori fighting sticks) is an EXTREMELY accurate and responsive control which makes it wonderful for most players. However, I have encountered some guest players who were not accustomed to using an accurate control and needed a little time adjusting to it.
The controller is NOT wireless and uses a USB cable to connect to the Xbox 360 console or PC. The Xbox Live headset can be connected to the controller on the edge facing you.
When connecting to your XP (and probably Vista) PC, it is recognized and given a default driver that works great with practically any application. Some software might require the use of a different driver. There are custom drivers out there if you don't mind doing some tinkering.
Overall, this is a great product that will provide you with more accurate control than the D-Pad and more fun playing arcade style games.

I bought this stick over a year ago, still going strong. Easy to mod, great quality parts. I have played a lot of street fighter 4 and various platformers and fighting games on it and it does amazingly.
Being able to play on both ps3, xbox and pc is a godsend for tournament players and anyone who would potentially need to play on more than 1 platfom.
it has a great weight to it and the handle bar and even if it looks stupid, the handlebar is great if you don't have a fightstick bag for tournaments
(extremely minor complaint below)
One thing I dont like is that there is no lock button for the pause and home buttons. I go to tournaments occasionally and the start button is on the front which has a chance to disqualify you from a match or make you lose that match. While games like guilty gear Xrd have solved this issue by making you have to hold the pause button, most games don't. You honestly have to be mashing really hard for this to be an issue, though. Mad Catz Arcade FightStick PRO
It takes a little bit of effort to get use to the stick if you're new to it but other than that it works perfectly.
The only thing that bothers me is the START and SELECT buttons because it's at the front of the box.
