Galaga Legions DX sends players through ten different levels, each with thousands of enemies swarming through multiple stages. Gamers once again have allied ships to help fend off the hordes of swooping foes, and the new Focus Fire feature makes the ship fire faster when it is closer to an enemy.
Ships are also outfitted with two satellite guns that help protect the flanks and keep players alive when they are surrounded, and shooting the occasional black holes that appear will cause all of the aliens on screen to join the legion and fight for gamers. Nostalgic players can customize their game with ships and sprites from past Galaga titles.
