Raging Justice - PC, Xbox One, Mac and Mobile

A nostalgic side-scrolling beat-em-up of the sort that filled the arcades of old, albeit with HD graphics and ear-splitting HD audio.
The visuals are 2D and pre-rendered but they
look great in HD thanks to the use of modern
graphics techniques.

From Streets Of Rage to Raging Justice, it may seem that the sidescrolling brawler hasn’t changed much over the past 24 years. Here we have a three-level demo packed with thugs that can be dispatched in numerous ways thanks to a wide range of combos, items dotted around that can be picked up and used, and some fiendish end-of-level bosses. Deja vu, anyone?

But there is no shame in harking back to the Eighties and early Nineties as long as you bring something new to the table and that’s what Raging Justice does. It may pay a nostalgic, cheesy homage to the genre with its ‘continues’ and maverick cops called Rick Justice and Nikki Rage, but it also seeks to move the brawler into the 21st century.

Developer Nic Makin tells us that beat-emups have been “sorely in need of updating” and you can see the steps being made to improve them. There is a modern soundtrack made for surround sound systems composed by Steve Burke and high-definition 2D visuals by artist Jay Howse, which deliberately provoke fuzzy feelings for the pre-rendered look used in games such as Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct.

On top of that, the controls correct past ‘wrongs’: there are four buttons rather than the traditional two, with one set aside for picking up weapons and another dedicated to jumping. As you bash the enemy into submission, you can make a choice: carry on hitting them in order to knock them out or just arrest them. Your decision will indicate if you are a good or bad cop. Genius. There is also a greater sense of maturity in the gameplay. The enemy AI has various patterns and strategies that you have to learn to defeat and the characters develop as you play the game, with bosses mixing things up. “We are introducing new gameplay as you play through – riding the Tractor on the Junkyard level has been a highlight of the shows,” says Makin. It also helps that you can simply pick up and play the game. It’s so accessible that there is no tutorial section; to insert one would be to patronise gamers of a certain era, we feel. “Every part of the game is designed for the sake of enjoyment, from how the player fights to the enemy AI, to the weapons and the vehicles,” says Makin.

He also says there are some features which will not be included from launch. Online multiplayer, alternate game modes such as a Bar Brawl (where players must survive wave after wave of enemies) and new playable characters are planned to come later. As it stands, though, it’s beating a strong path to our hearts.
Although you can pick up weapons and
wallop the enemy thugs, as a cop you can arrest the
criminals instead of smashing them.

Fallout 4 - Best Sidequests and Best Weapons

Essential Sidequests

VAULT 75
Make sure you search every school you find. One has a secret vault underneath, the pretence being it was to save the children and their parents (if they could afford it). The truth is far more horrifying, even for this series, and that’s really saying something.
-
TROUBLE BREWIN’
It’s not all doom and gloom in the wasteland, as this charming adventure proves. Salvage a beer-brewing robot, while wondering if Bethesda come up with the pun first, then write the quest after. We’re not judging. That’s how 90% of OXM is brewed.
-
OUT OF THE FIRE
Stop impressionable youngster Jake from joining sinister Raider gang The Forged. Seriously, these guys are truly evil. Feeding-people-eyes-forsleeping- on-their-shift kind of evil.
-
HERE KITTY, KITTY
Rescue Erin’s cat. Look, you’re going to commit some truly horrible sins in the wasteland. The least you can do is return this lost kitty. Think of your soul.

Great Weapons

JUNK JET
At last! A weapon that fires all those useless rusty tin cans we’re always accidentally picking up.
Will launch any junk loaded into it and the longer you hold down the trigger, the more powerful the impact. Means it’s now possible to defeat a shotgun wielding raider with a pair of safety scissors.

SYRINGER RIFLE
Craft poisons at chemistry benches, then fire them into your enemies. Highlights include one that makes them bleed out for an agonising 30 seconds, or a shot that makes them think you’ve vanished into thin air. You know, just like people do all the time. Idiots.
Radiation poisoning means it’s no longer
safe to drink seawater. Shame, we used to love
doing that.

ELECTRIFIED SWORD
Bring a big knife to a gunfight and the Super Mutants will rightfully giggle as they minigun you to
shreds. Burn off their laughing gobs by crafting an electrified blade – it’s the closest you’ll get to wielding a lightsaber outside of Battlefront.
When stabbing just isn’t enough, go
electric.

ANY LASER WEAPON
Does disintegrating an enemy into red, steaming particles ever get old? No. No it does not.

Scourge of War: Waterloo - PC Reviews & Gameplay Images

Reviews & Images Screenshots & Specs Similar Games Trailer

Rating: 80/100

Rating: 75/100

This game is not like Napoleon Total War especially concerning graphics. But it is a much deeper wargaming experience in its detail, scale and historical simulation. I enliken Scourge of War Waterloo with NTW in the same way I do with IL2 Sturmovik 1942 in regards to War Thunder.

SoWW is deeply satisfying to play if you enjoy the grand scheme of Napoleonic line battles. It can be adapted from casual to hardcore gamestyles -- HITS, Headquarters in the Saddle, being a unique feature. Be prepared to invest time in learning the game controls as this will repay you in greater satisfaction.

Now go and try your hand as Napoleon, Wellington or Blucher (or a score of other historical commanders)!

Rating: 85/100
If you enjoy strategy wargaming you need this in your collection, it's as simple as that.

A game that strives for realism and historical accuracy, it may not be the prettiest, although it has a beauty all its own, it succeeds at simulating the experience of commanding troops on the battlefield.

A masterpiece.

Top 3 Indie Titles for PC

ASHEN RIFT
Ashen Rift is just the thing for people who like both survival games and dogs. It promises a deep and emotional experience, as you traverse an expansive and constantly changing wasteland with a canine companion. The game is clearly focusing more on its journey rather than the destination, having you testing your survival skills, while providing a different experience each time you play with its constantly shifting environment. Not to be confused with A Boy and His Dog.

TURNOVER
Obviously there are many people out there who are big fans of Die Hard, including the people developing Turnover. Players take the role of an office drone, Clea, who must escape the armed guards attempting to take over the building, like an 8-Bit John McLane. The game itself seems to promise a lot of tense moments and close calls, reactive enemy AI will ensure you never quite know what’s coming next.

FORCED: ETERNAL ARENAS
Every so often there is a game that takes two things that have been done before and blends them together to make something new. That’s exactly what you get in this experience as it combines the chaos of beat-em-ups with the strategy normally found in MOBAs thanks to a card based skill and equipment system. This mixture will have people staying on their toes as they find the best ways not to die.

Rating: 79/100
Rating: 79/100
If you want Legend of Grimrock, but with better combat (much more tactical) and less annoying puzzles, this is the game for you.

Rating: 70/100
It's a pretty solid dungeon crawler, and it's well thought out to capture a large audience. Beginners in the genre, such as myself, will find an extensive tutorial and pick a easy level of difficulty, allowing them to get going without frustration, while seasoned players can skip the tutorial and choose a much harder level (there are 6 level of difficulty if I remember correctly).

Of course you'll find most of the genre's commonplaces right there as you expect them - from the visual style to the types of objects, the gameplay mechanics, etc. This has caused some people to blame the lack of originality, but at the same time, had the game departed too much from these standards, people would have complained about it (or simply been turned away) as well. So I think the developer made the right choices.

All in all, a solid recommendation if you're attracted to dungeon crawlers, whether or not you're skillful at them.

Rating: 80/100
Very nice combat focussed dungeon crawler. Nothing flashy, but very well made. The combat mechanics are especially good - deep, yet easy to learn. Navigating through the levels can take a bit of perseverance, but the puzzles are much less pesky than Grimrock. Would have been awesome with voice acting, but still strongly recommended if you like the old school.

Rating: 90/100
Just Fantastic!

Great game that takes me back to my 'Eye Of The Beholder' days. Quite challenging even with the pause option.

Lovely environments and great ambient sound.

Only con for me are items and some pressure pads are very hard to see. Developer has since added sparkle to dropped items, but it wasn't these items as such, it was items already on the ground hidden in corners I have trouble seeing. But that's half the fun right? Why have everything handed to you on a plate? I'm 6 hours in and only on Level 2. I can see this lasting me quite some time. Money well spent and kudos to the developer.

Mordheim: City of the Damned Reviews and Gameplay Images

Reviews & Images Screenshots & Specs Similar Games Trailer

Rating: 78/100

Rating: 80/100
pros:
- nice atmosphere
- stylish graphics
- strategic gameplay with lots of options
- true to the board game's spirit
- nice developers who publish lots of updates

cons:
- long loading times
- camera bugs
- UI is a bit confusing and clunky
- bad animations, mediocre visual effects

Rating: 75/100
I bought relatively early into Early Access, And I was super disappointed - the game was sluggish, unbalanced, boring and the multiplayer battles without consequences.

And then I started again with the last patch, after taking half a year off.

Boy did this get far. Mordheim is brilliant now. It's still a bit sluggish, a bit slow with the loading, but it's so, so, so much fun. While there's only four warbands, there's plenty of opportunity with different weapon styles and skillings to build your own unique troop. And every battle counts, every engagement could end badly for you.

The AI isn't very good, but it gets lucky every now and then and manages to outflank you, so there's still a considerable risk. Mordheim teaches humility - like when your Matriarch tank loses her shield arm and can't enter Parry stance anymore, rendering her completely useless as a tank. And replacing her from the scratch will take a lot of time and training you might not have, as your commander expects a large delivery of warpstone soon!

My initial disappointment is completely gone, and I'll be the first in line when new DLC featuring more warbands hits the store. It's so good, and so exciting.

Rating: 80/100
First up, this is not Table Top Mordheim. It looks like it, it feels like it, but it is an adaption of the table-top game, not a direct port. So if you want Mordheim as you remember it, this is not it. But it is still an amazing game.

It captures the look and feel of TT Mordheim very well. The characters look like they jumped right off your miniature shelf and into your monitor. The world feels exactly like Mordheim should...dark, scary and evil. It is very close to Warhammer lore, and if you want a Warhammer Fantasy fix this is surely your best bet today. No Age of Shitmar junk here! Just traditional Warhammer goodness!

PROS:
-The maps are truly amazing and detailed. There is nothing else like it. Multiple stories in buildings, raised walkways and terrain, traps and dead ends. Ruined buildings and plenty of flanking and high ground opportunities abound. It blows away anything else in the market and needs to be seen to be believed. All maps also are different every time you play them due to procedural terrain generation. Never the same experience twice.
-The graphics are well done, the animations are varied and many, and as said above they really captured the feel of Warhammer in it's entirety.
-The development options are immense. 175 total skills and 8 unique spells per faction. 7 different characters for 4 warbands. So many ways to build your characters to fit your playstyle.
-'Hardcode' gameplay. You cannot save and reload (although you can save/quit and continue again at any time) or as it's known, save-scumming. Characters can get injuries and die. You live with consequences.
-Huge array of maps for multiplayer, with many options.
-Seamless integreation of Single Player and Multiplayer. They are basially one and the same.
-Unique campaign for each faction and a large single player experience.

CONS:
-The wealth of options can be overwhelming to new players. If this doesn't bother you, you'll love it.
-The lack of dedicated MP support. Since the publisher didn't cough up the cash for dedicated servers, the community will need to start their own leagues. But nothing stops you from doing MP-only with friends. You will need an 'honor' system (and screenshots) to enforce MP only.
-Hardcore gameplay can be a turn off. If you can't handle setbacks, you won't like this game.
-AI still needs work. It can be challenging at first, but after a while it is fairly beatable. Of course, that's where MP comes in. Note the developers are still working on the AI.
-"Only" 4 warbands. If you want a lot of options they aren't here yet. That said, the four warbands offer immense options anyway. But if your a TT purist, or really want Undead or Dwarves, they aren't here yet.
-The complex maps can sometimes cause issues with AI pathfinding, and you may not get why you cannot disengage from combat because some rock or skeleton is blocking your way.

It has to be said the development team, Rogue Factor, has been truly amazing throughout the early acces in terms of accessibility, communication, and feedback. A number of suggestion I myself have made are in the game...they really listen to the community, beyond any other developer I've ever seen. They will continue to refine the game even after release, and if sales justifiy, it, they will add more Warbands and functionality.

In the end, I found this to be an incredible game, well worth the $40 US. If you like warhammer, and deep turn based strategy, and want fully 3D maps that blow anything in the market away (XCOM has nothing on these maps) then this is the game for you.

One of the most enjoyable third-person action RPGs of 2012 is about to make its way to the PC, bringing the Dark Arisen expansion pack with it. Old Games: Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake

Owing that Kojima was sidelined for the development of Snake’s Revenge, the first follow-up to Metal Gear, plus the fact that Konami made numerous tweaks to the gameplay in a bid to make the game appeal more to Western gamers, Snake’s Revenge is vehemently lambasted by fans of series. However, Snake’s Revenge is not without merit, and Kojima himself has even stated to liking the game, believing it stays true to Metal Gear ideals. Shortly after the game’s release, however, Kojima  would get to work on his successor to Metal Gear – Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, released for the MSX2. Alongside Metal Gear Solid on the PSone, Solid Snake would become one of the most popular games inside the Metal Gear canon, introducing many integral and popular characters – Gray Fox, Campbell – who would all go on to become mainstays within subsequent games in the series.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate - PC Review and Gameplay Images

Review and Images System Requirements Similar Games Videos

Rating: 38/100

This is the way AC Unity should have been. Much better performance, and it actually isn't full of bugs. It has a GTA like game play with a fully open and explore-able world, you can even hijack a few vehicles and horse drawn carriages. The parkour system works great, you can climb walls and buildings and go onto roof tops and perform executions from mid air. The only real downside to this game is that the scenes when killing someone sort of repeat themselves, no real variety. All and all this is what the last AC should have been, it goes back to the roots that made AC a great game. Definitely pick this up, you won't be disappointed!

Rating: 10
Oh yes it runs well and with fewer bugs but the graphics is bare and very downgraded that it seems you are playing a Pc game of 5-6 years ago rather than a new game. It's a modest Pc port that offers mediocre graphics, repetitive missions, awkward controls which waste your gaming experience

Rating: 0
8.5GB of Vram to make run at high quality a game that would have required less than 3GB is ridiculous. This PC port is a joke. If you want to play it at low settings it runs well and smoothly but graphics is ugly. If you want to play it at high settings prepare to buy a Titan X with 12GB Vram because your GTX 980ti won't be enough.

Rating: 10
A great disappointment for me that I have bought this game. This is what I think after playing it for around 13 hours:

Graphics 40/100
Sounds 60/100
Gameplay 20/100
Entertainment Factor 0/100

Rating: 0
The game for PC looks blurry, rough and flat. AA filter works bad. Shadows are poor quality. Textures are console version and not PC version. World detail is very low. This port is pathetic and unmeaning. Plus the game is boring boring boring again and again.

Rating: 70/100
Faily well optimised. A few texture/npc pop-ins here and there, but nothing too serious.
You don't need to max the video options for it to look good.
The only thing that bothers me are the clunky combat system and the stiff animations; they look too cartoon-ish.
Other than that, it's a step up from Unity.

I wish Ubisoft would stop making annual releases and take their time to release a really great game worthy of GOTY title. Sadly that won't happen because they're too money hungry and they don't give a rat's ass about people's opinions.

Star Wars Battlefront for PC Reviews

Rating: 46/100

Rating: 90/100
Bunch of whiners on here. The maps and worlds are AMAZING and so REALISTIC. The sounds, , music, characters, weapons, everything is on point. No bugs and it runs so damn smooth. Yes they could've introduced more out of the original box but we're getting 5 more expansions and I don't mind paying extra. On it's own, the game has blown me away with the gameplay and graphics. I haven't played any previous Star Wars games and was on Battlefield 4 until now but man they really did a fine job. The only thing missing is a campaign, Darth Maul and more maps and weapons (which will come soon).

Rating: 70/100
Currently just played about 4 hours total. Played every game mode and the battles 20vs20 are awsome. Great graphics, great sound good gameplay. I do agree that the game is limited with the current number of maps and can get a little repetitive. Is the game worth 80$ (here in Canada), I would say meh depends. i bought it for I am a huge fan of Star Wars. I just but the normal game no extras to wait and see if the season pass will be good enought. Also for all those who keep bashing and hating and saying this isnt battlefront 2 and blablabla, it is not the same developper and the same game style. THIS IS NOT A BF4 or HARDLINE SKIN ! To concluded, dont listen to bashers or haters, find the information you need if you are not sure but I recommend it, maybe wait for a sale if your'e in Canada but a must for SW fans.

Rating: 60/100
Star Wars Battlefront is a monumental disappointment from DICE that lacks any long term appeal, is desperately lacking in content and is completely overpriced. It is another cash-grab from EA of a massive brand which has been executed in shambolic fashion. It feels like nothing more than a Battlefield Hardline reskin and will probably die just as quick.

Battlefront promised so much but gamers have been left with a content-starved title that consists of a few bland and barren maps, a selection of uninspiring modes and very mediocre combat mechanics. The game looks reasonable at times but the lack of substance and a grand experience especially when compared to Battlefield 4 as of now makes this product feel utterly pointless even for die-hard Star Wars fans. Regular FPS fanatics will feel short-changed at what's on offer as after just a few hours of play; you've seen everything this game has to offer.

The most unforgivable aspect of Battlefront is the lack of a campaign or Story. This should have been a mandatory inclusion but has ultimately rendered the game a missed opportunity and just inflates the fact that this is nothing more than DICE and EA grabbing cash to satisfy their shareholders before the bumper year-end payoff. As usual; the season pass will provide future content but you will be long bored before then as the game will be soundly removed from your hard drive and never to be touched again.

Star Wars and FPS fans should avoid at all costs as this is nothing more than a quick cash-in and an opportunity to milk a popular brand without delivering anything that constitutes to a satisfactory experience. The multiplayer is a shallow experience and the product itself falls considerably below standards in terms of quality and material. A huge insult to gamers, fans and the Star Wars brand alike. Pathetic showing from DICE and EA all round.

Rating: 10/100
This is a freaking Battlefield 4 clone with a Star Wars skin on it. I knew this going in, but figured I'd see what it has to offer. Is it fun? Yes. Is it what it should've been ? No. Is it worth 60$? No. Is it worth having a season pass with 5 dlc's costing nearly as much as the game? Most certainly not. They are laughing all the way to the bank with that Star Wars license, that is a disgrace to Star Wars fans everywhere..

Rating: 0/100
Worst game ive ever played
EA ruined star wars.

First of all.
The game is LOCKED at 60 fps on consoles as well as pc which playing a game at 60 fps is pretty much unplayable
there are only 6 heros in the game
there is no campaign
There is no galactic conquest
there is no instant action
there is no single player
there is no modding
there is no space battles
This is call of duty star wars nothing to see here
this is not the game you're looking for hopefully no one will be tricked into buying this and just forget about this horrible buggy unplayable mess of a game.

Major Minecraft Update!

Minecraft’s latest update has added a new flying cape, which allows players to get their Superman on whenever they like. The cape is coming to the PC version first, and must be found by players in the game - these capes can’t be crafted. How cool is that?!

SNATCHER (a Hideo Kojima Game)

Snatcher can be seen as the spiritual precursor to Policenauts. The games are set in two different and very distinct worlds inhabited by very different people. Also, Snatcher feels less like a detective story and more like a first-person action/adventure game. Its gameplay uses point-and-click style adventuring permeated with occasional shooting sections, and its story touches on the Illuminati and borrows heavily from the films Blade Runner and Invasion Of The Body Snatchers. The story centres on mysterious beings know as Snatchers, who steal the bodies of humans and use them as a host to blend discreetly into society. You play the role of Gillian Seed, and work for a special unit of rangers known as JUNKER who are assigned to draw out and eliminate the Snatchers at any cost.

Football Manager 2016 PC Review and System Requirements

Review and Specs Screenshots Similar Games

I love football manager I really do but like most yearly releases you struggle to see the value of purchasing the what is 90% the same game year after year after year. And I am afraid it is even harder this year, The much boasted create a manager feature to put it gently is garbage not many options and when I tried to put myself in the game well I looked like a very dodgy regen with a creepy smile to be honest I preferred it when I could put my own picture in. A lot of things have been tweaked apparently but after 20 hours of playing can't say I have noticed any. Glaring problems such as the match engine players being badly animated with players seeming to float across the pitch with out moving there legs and goal players doing stupid things, yes I know we get the odd howler in football but it is not this bad.

Yes I am being harsh with this review and score but I love FM and want it to do better and hold it to a high standard all the way back to when I was playing when I was 13 signing Freddy Adu. To sum up I do not see any value in this installment and my big gripe about general laziness and minimal effort being put in remains from last year e.g same questions in interviews where we they have not even bothered to change the wording is dam lazy where such minimal effort has gone in every where else.

Final thoughts: A lazy effort and I am dissapointed if you are a fool like me you will buy it every year then moan then buy it next year but if you are sensible buy FM15 and download a custom database for the latest transfers.

Top 5 Best Free iOS Slots Apps

Old Games: POLICENAUTS - PC 1998

Released in 1994, and reputedly taking five years to make, Policenauts – a portmanteau of police officer and astronaut – was a science fiction film noir, a detective story with designs on the ‘mature’ gamer. As was the norm back then, videogames that focused on adult themes were generally developed for the PC market, and Policenauts was originally released on the PC-98 and 3DO, and then later on the PSone and the Sega Saturn. Sadly, the game was never localised, which means in order to really get a handle on Hideo Kojima’s unique vision, a fluency in Japanese is necessary. However, some dedicated chaps at Junker HQ have been working on transcribing the game for the last fi ve years. And we don’t envy them either because it’s truly a mammoth undertaking. Depending on which version of the game you play, Policenauts comes with a weighty in-game encyclopedia that fleshes out the culture and the characteristics of its world.

Fallout 4 - Power Armor Information and Gameplay Images

Pitiful Armor
When you first leave Vault 111, you’ll be lucky if the blue jumpsuit you’re wearing protects you from a radroach bite. there’s all sorts of protective equipment and clothing to be found in the wastes, but serious survivors will want to invest in some power armor.

Real Steel
In previous games, power armor was just an outfit you equipped. one that offered great defence and took up a lot of inventory space, but not much beyond that. this time it’s a mechanical iron Man-style suit you step inside of. Better yet, the separate parts can be mixed and matched with other power armor models to your heart’s content, and modified for extra perks.

the SKY’S the liMi… oh
the jetpack is by far the best mod we saw. is there a videogame, or indeed a single part of everyday life, that isn’t improved with one? any concerns we had about this not being a truly new-gen fallout game shattered when we saw this mechanical beast take to the skies. Stuff that wearable pip-Boy,  why wasn’t this getup a pre-order bonus?
