Awesome little game, quite challenging too. On my first play-through just about all my companions died, having to watch the green hatchling get killed was especially sad. Only dectrator is that the game is very short. I really hope the developer makes a sequal/expands the scope of the game eventulally. It has a lot story potential.

Rating: 77/100
So cute and heaps of fun with a controler.
If you like small indie titles this will really entertain, the game has loads of personality.
The developer has exicuted the rich story very cleverly through the game play, enviroments and NPCs. I love the fact that I am following a story of this little critter without walls of text to read or cut scenes with voice acting.
This game is a bargain, I am extremly satified by the value it offers.

A short, sweet game. I enjoyed the 2d aspect and difficulty. Games of progression interest me, and this had it. I do wish the game was longer, but for $4 I cannot complain and I don't think you could either. The art is also beautiful. And a short game that can make me feel, wow!

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Reviews and Images

Reviews & Images Screenshots & Specs The Knowledge Trailer

 Rating: 88/100

Rating: 90/100
This game is the very best of its genre. If you like CRPGs like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Nights, you are going to like Divinity: Original Sin. The Enhanced Edition made it even better than the acclaimed original version, improving the game in literally every aspect. I must warn people who are not familiar with these kind of games, there is a lot of dialogs, thankfully every single dialog in the game is voiced. My only complaint is the inventory management, you will find yourself struggling with the chaotic inventory box very often.

Rating: 90/100
I just can say: woah. Enhanced version its really kickass (was really disappointed with first edition). Lots of role playing and fun. Ill try to say my honest opinion with this one,

Pros:
Nice fights, really fun and versatile.
Role playing is kickass, you can alter quest such in a massive way.
Interesting maps, really invites you to discover entire maps and keeps you with mystery through them.
Intuitive quests, not for lazy minded people.
Leveling is fun, you can spend a bunch of time thinking what to invest, that's kinda cool imo.
Enhanced edition improves almost everything, the improve in graphics, effects, optimization its really mindblowing compared with the last year one. Pretty solid.

Cons:
Not best story or dialogues (its kinda weird, but that weird thing maybe keeps you interested).
Voice acting isnt the best (sometimes its annoying to hear npc speech's)
Difficulty: not friendly (old fashioned way, you can encounter high lvl mobs that only warns you not to keep going that way lol).

Rating: 85/100
Everyone at the first sight consider it's a Diablo like RPG but it's totally different. I'd rather treat it like 2.5D skyrim or wildhunt.
If you have no patience to explore the world, this game is not for you!
The battle is full of fun with strategy.
For most AAA RPGs in 2014 and 2015, they told you to do something/get some stuff/from A to B, then to C. But for this game, you need to decide which way you should do to complete B, because the result of B will influence A and C.
For example, a goblin tells you to murder an orc woman, bring her necklace back. You can kill the goblin, and tell the truth to the orc woman, you can kill the orc woman, and bring the necklace to goblin, you can also say hello to the orc woman, steal her necklace to the goblin and promise you have killed the woman! If you really kill the woman then another quest you need to get some knowledge and ideas to make a show at the town will be influenced...
So, it all depends on your choice! You can give the quest keys to the npc and after finish the quest, steal from them to open the treasure chest, if you find a drunk legion solder and search his inventory, there must be a mug with beer! You can make tomato sauce with tomato and hammer! This game has so much amazing details to explore...Lot's of puzzles and jokes.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition offers a well-written story, in-depth character development and tactical combat that will be more than enough to please most tactical fans.

It’s a grand adventure that rewards those who are patient enough to wade through some of the less polished aspects with incredibly rich dialogue, a huge world to affect and explore and much more besides.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below - Reviews and Images

Reviews & Images Screenshots & Specs Similar Games Trailer

 Rating: 52/100

Rating: 10/100
An excessively close-up camera makes this game nauseatingly unplayable. Additionally, by necessarily shifting a major portion of the player's attention span toward relentless basic camera manipulation, less of that finite resource is available to focus on more potentially enjoyable and strategic game mechanics, such as anticipating dodgeable/blockable attacks. This arguably has the indirect effect of strongly encouraging frantic button mashing.

I am baffled that the developers overlooked such a blatant design flaw, particularly when juxtaposed with Hyrule Warriors—a comparatively superb game which one might have forgiven for such a decision, in light of the constraints of vastly inferior hardware. I would have gladly accepted diminished graphical detail in exchange for a wider field of view, and have no doubt that this would have felt like an entirely different game—one worthy of the Dragon Quest moniker.

Rating: 87/100
If you like hack n' slash games, and Dragon Quest games, this is a very solid game. Old school mixed perfectly with new school. Two big thumbs up!!

Rating: 60/100
Its ok, it gets boring fairly quickly. Its like if you combined dynasty warriors with secret of mana. The voice actors do not match the characters artwork style, and its almost impossible to do. The English voice acting is so terrible I quickly turned it to Japanese, and even then the voices do not match the characters/art style. I would say it would be better to have silent characters, for this. It is incredibly repetitive as well, which is never a good thing. All in all its an ok game, but it is not worth anything close to 60 dollars. I would say 20 to 30 at most.

Darkest Dungeon Review and System Requirements

GameInfo: Darkest Dungeon is a roguelike, dungeon crawler video game created by indie developers Red Hook Studios.
Review: Darkest Dungeon: A game you will love or hate, or both at the same time.

I bought this game after watching about 4 minutes of a stream. From the start it looked very fun, interesting and most importantly...difficult. It wasn't a game like so many where it's tailored to just get you from start to end. Where you mess up any number of times and just get more chances. With Darkest Dungeon there is room for error, but it's a very small room; and most the time you have to take a loss of some sort.

Anyways into the real details.
PROS:
- Game looks, feels and sounds amazing
- Combat system is fun, alas very random.
- Upgrade system is very well done, with 4 different types of upgrade mats
- Stress system is great, you get broken down mentally and physically, which is what seemed so interesting
- Random dungeon layouts proves for a fun new adventure every time you embark
- The game is VERY fun!

CONS:
- As it's been said so many times before in other reviews, good and bad; the RNG is not only too random, it's BEYOND frustrating. I fell this is by far the biggest issue with the game at current development. I'm not sure if it's a tooltip issue, or programming issue, or what the underlying cause is; but the RNG is far too random. I've literally (meaning literally not OMG "literally") had a 85% hit chance skill miss 9 times in a row. Now with 15% miss chance, sure it's not impossible, but this happens often in sperts of "bad RNG". It wasn't just a single time. When you have "low light" from your torch you're supposed to have a higher crit % according to the tooltip, but I don't think I've ever crit while doing a "no light" run. All in all, if you get angry at games on any level whatsoever, this game will definitely piss you off from time to time...often enough.

- The Sanitarium is a joke, not only is it ridiculously expensive, with having to reduce stress after almost every dungeon, you never have time to put your characters in there. ESPECIALLY since you get a new affliction (debuff) almost every single run as well. So what is really the point of it? The Sanitarium needs to reduce stress as well, not as much as the Abbey or Tavern (otherwise they would become worthless in place of the Sanitarium), but by a 50% rate or something.

- The in-dungeon character dialogue. They like to talk a lot, and when they do it stops whatever you are doing. It becomes increasingly annoying when they say the same things over and over as well. So you're not just being stopped to hear something interesting, you're being stopped to read the same thing over and over. It becomes unbareable when they get full stress and break, because in the battle they say something non stop and you spend 50% of the time waiting for them to shutup.

- There is no structured combat rotation, it seems characters can go whenever they want. It's never "your turn" and then "enemy turn". Also, sometimes in particular with "surprise" attacks the enemy can go multiple times in a row, before you can. So at that point you're so far behind in the dungeon with almost maxed stress and no HP it's a miracle of you get out with all 4 people alive, or finish it at all.

It's early access, so we'll see where they take the game, but right now it's still worth playing if you can deal with moments of being annoyed and hating your characters sometimes. Even with all the at length CONS, I still highly recommend the game.

Dying Light Mini Review and Screenshots for PC

Opinion after 5 hours of playing:
I can sure say this was worth the wait and it isn't overrated. To sum this game up, take Dead Island, add parkour & make improvements on the game.

So positives:

+Beautiful Graphics
+Parkour works perfectly
+Combat is fun
+Variety of enemies
+Zombie kills are satisfying
+Story is interesting
+Nighttime is intense
+Crafting on the spot
+Nice skill trees
+Place is enjoyable to explore

Negatives:
Obviously the positives easily outweigh the negatives but anywho.

-Some stuttering & FPS issues
-Won't run in fullscreen
-Can only fix a weapon 3 times? (Comment if there is anyway to fix it over 3 times)
Verdict: 84/100

Dragon Ball Xenoverse (2015 Fighting Game)

The newest Dragon Ball game is the first to be released on new-gen consoles – so as well as being able to see every individual hair in Goku’s trademark spikes, we’ll also be treated to shiny HD graphics. You’ll also create your own fighter – less impressive when you remember all 200 Dragon Ball characters are basically the same guy – and battle in large 3D arenas, including mid-air and underwater sets. A mysterious new city, an unknown fighter and over 200 special moves guarantee some Ball Z to the Wall Z action.

Divinity: Original Sin Review and System Requirements

As a veteran of Divine Divinity and a serious RPG gamer, I wanted to like this. But I find almost nothing to enjoy here. - Characters move way too slowly making basic travel a chore - Camera turn is so limited it serves to function - Some areas are cluttered with items making it a chore to click and move without accidentally stealing something - Pickpocketing is just awful: you can't pick pocket an NPC twice, NPC random movement makes pickpocketing too easily caught, being caught is punishable by death in this world which makes this an exercise in quickloading, double clicking an item during pickpocketing causes my character to inexplicably wander away from the NPC breaking pickpocket

- Virtually no map markers, so I'm wandering to my death in overleveled areas
- The dual RP system doesn't work for me, because I feel like I'm just talking to myself.
- The rock/paper/scissors method of deciding arguments renders every decision frivolous.

On the upside, the combat system is reasonably tactical, and makes good use of the terrain. The writing is much better than previous Larian efforts. Some of the characters are quite humorous. But there's a quantity over quality approach here, as most of the dialogue comes off as unnecessary filler. I don't need every NPC in town to tell me the same thing using different words.

Verdict: 40/100

Distant Worlds Universe Review and System Requirements

Distant Worlds is the best 4x available today. It's combination of depth and accessibility is unmatched in this genre.

How, you might ask, does it accomplish this feat? Variable micromanagement. If you want to nurture your colonies from day one, to design every strut and gravatic beam weapon on your ships, and ensure that the right espionage agent ends up on a mission to steal operations maps from your dreaded enemy, you can.
On the other hand, if you want the AI to deal with all the micromanagement and to instead cruise around the galaxy in your prototype hyperdrive rocket, look at the ruins of ancient civilizations and run from giant space lobsters, you can do that instead. You can even combine the two -- more or less -- and tool around in the rocket while occasionally changing tax rates, build orders, and spy/diplomatic targets.

Unlike most 4x games, DW is built on the back of a fairly intricate economic simulator. But wait - simulator - does that mean I can't control it??? Not directly. The civilian economy, all those little freightors, gas mining ships, and tourist vessels... that is almost entirely out of your hands. You can set up your military/industrial base to encourage good civilian use, but the civies decide for themselves whether they want to pick up a load of Cason gas and move it to where you need fuel for your next military campaign.

DW:U brings better pathing, improved AI, and expanded mod capabilities to an already great game.

Cons: The game resolution is set to your desktop resolution because it runs in a borderless window. Consequently, the font can be small and hard to read. If this is a problem for you, one solution is to lower your desktop resolution before launching the game.
Verdict: 85/100

DeadEnd Cerebral Vortex Review - Games Fiends

DeadEnd Cerebral Vortex has some promising elements of gameplay thanks to its challenging alteration of the maze levels as you move through them, and is a strong example of the genre. But the lacklustre graphics, musical score and an absence of narrative makes progress tiring and lacking in any real reward.
